GOOD NEWS!!! Contract w ODR SCCA is finished!!! We should have online registration should be up soon (hopefully by next week).

Just a heads-up, airfield only allow 100 car to run the autox, so if you're interested in running autox don't procrastinate!

As for the price, we're prob be looking at $45 per driver. That include SCCA weekend membership & insurance that's require to run.

Also we're looking at food trucks over there too... You guys interested in food truck at the autox? LMK

Great news! And for those of us who may elect just to spectate, I think a food truck (or two) might be greatly appreciated!

Also, for those of us who don't race regularly, I believe one of the rules is that any participants have to wear a helmet while on the course. Will there be loaner helmets available (if required), or would we need to bring our own?

Helmet will be provided by SCCA so you guys can borrow it... but if I was you guys, I would not only ride along, but I'll autox it too. If you never done it before, it'll be perfect! I'm coordinating w SCCA to have a car class only divided into NA & FI. You don't have to worry about checking to see which mod makes you which class or anything! If you have snail in FRS/BRZ, you're in FI class. Simple as that. PLUS there will be mostly FRS/BRZ gonna be there autox, so you can get tips from members who have been autoxing their FRS/BRZ.

Is this an open event for all their usual members or is it exclusive to our group?

It's for FRS/BRZ... BUT if your friend or family who own Supra, Corvette or Yaris want to autox, they can register. I'm not against other car-fans.

Hey guys! After I suggested it, Ichitaka asked me to look into the possibility of getting a hotel group rate at least in the Richmond area. With some quick research, I have narrowed it down to the cluster of hotels that are around the Airport (easily accessed from the highway).

At this point, to find out if this is worth doing, I'd like to ask those of you who plan on attending if

1) You would be interested in taking advantage of a group rate, and
2) What your budget would be.

A quick check of rates shows a range of charges in that area from ~$90/night up to $135/night. Group rates are usually 10-20% cheaper.

What do you guys think?
