Despite some delays, we were able to put in 8 runs. Perfect weather. This lot wasn't as bumpy as we expected. Excellent job on the course layout (avoiding those bumps). Amazing to see vintage racers (yellow fiat and red triumph). It was a well run event.
Congrats Jon !!

I'll clarify Jose's statement. In addition to James' kick ass driving, We got almost 120 drivers 8 runs a piece. Including a 3 driver FSAE team just back from the Michigan competition and a 2 driver Formula Vee that no touched a competition surface in 3 decades(and didn't dump oil everywhere).

I don't know how we did it. We were probably greedy going for 8 runs and just 7 would have had everyone packed up by 5pm.

So, if I were planning a short trip, any recommendation between a NYR event at Nassau or a MSNE event at the Meadowlands? Anywhere else worth considering? We've never been to the Nassau site. We have been to the Meadowlands once, but for a ProSolo, not a MSNE event.

TIA,
John
Obviously self serving to say come out to an NYR event
The Meadowlands is the premier surface in Northeast, but I would do the lot that NNJR SCCA & PCA use and not the lot across that MSNE usually uses. I would also opt for a Perry Adielbaum course.

If you can be social and want to meet new people, I want you coming to an NYR event. To little seat time to worry forget about the rest of the day.
