Got with the local tuner shop owner to finally have a Perrin intake installed.

Coilovers installed. Holy fucking annoying sway bar end link bolts. Took me 2 hours each side to get off...

A few weeks into owning mine and i think today i've finally gotten the perfect pedal height. Now i don't have to spend anymore time upside down on my head and getting a wicked headache every time i come back up from the floor (aww who am i kidding, I'll prolly fine tune it once or twice more after a few days and then i'll finally be done). It feels so nice now!

Spun mine off the road today getting onto the highway. I guess the road was a little damp and I didn't realize it. Luckily there was no guardrail or curb and my car just ended up getting really dirty and the wheels on the one side got dinged up a bit.

Lesson learned: don't get complacent with your daily commute. I'm used to taking that on ramp at 40ish but apparently that's too fast if it's wet.

I discovered that one of the corners on my daily commute home gets WICKED slippery anytime there's a hint of water on the road. Put me damn near sideways the first time, second time it had been raining a bit long so I thought maybe there'd be more grip (less oils/grease etc sitting) so I approached with caution and in third... NOPE! For whatever reason this corner is just has no traction in the wet, even touching the gas at 30 mph in 3rd results in instant wheelspin.

Makes me wonder if I should go at my normal commute slower than usual when it's raining now...

Took it out for a spin through the foothills in town. Brought it back and gave it a quick rinse. Man, it's so much easier to clean a recently clayed / waxed car.

I'm really digging this car. Saying that it's a great daily driver doesn't even do it justice-- it's freakishly well balanced and a great match for public roads in terms of power... nice and neutral and you can really drive it hard on the road.

I think I still want to get some stiffer motor mounts, and I'm still waiting on a replacement for my cracked midpipe, but I don't think this car really needs much more than that at this point.

Well, it could be worse. In my town, driveways are often so nasty that I can't even get out without scraping the bumper, and I'm only lowered a bit less than an inch. I probably can't even put a splitter on in the first place, which is a shame because I'd love one of those FT86 speedfactory / Hancha ones.
