yeah man, guy was trying to pull into my lane from the gas station and I was right there within 3 meters of him. I didn't stop for him because I had the right of way. He saw the BRZ and my girlfriend in it, so I guess he had a case of serious "jelly" that he pulled up next to me and started to scream "do you want to die". I just looked at him like "What?" Was at a red light the other day and a little kid was walking his dog, couldn't keep his eyes off the car.. even as he was turning the corner.

Just out of my car, pretty hilarious. Keep in mind I live in a pretty shady area, and I'm a little paranoid.

Anyways, earlier in the day I broke the 1000mi mark for break in, commuting back from work. I was pretty tired and couldn't really celebrate with the BRZ.

I just took it out now, since it's 10PM on a Saturday, and I'm pretty far from Downtown.
Drove pretty spiritually but within speed limits.

A Dodge Stratus starts tailgating me, it was pretty annoying to be tailgated in the middle of nowhere at night, with limited traffic.

I speed up, try to get a little bit of space. A mile later, with her/him behind me still, I decide to take a sudden left turn only at a light. Unfortunately, it turned red.

The person pulls up, it turned out to be a women with two guys,

The passenger yells out.
"Aye, man, what's your car?"
"Uhhh BRZ?"
"Nah man, like uhh Make!"
"Oh, Subaru..., SUBARU?!"
"Ah, nice ride."

And drives off hastily. It was like out of some badly written fast and furious movie.

Yesterday, I am out putting Tom's tails on and have the car kinda taken apart. I am just finishing up. Guy walks by and says "Need me to help check those lights?" I was like sure. So he gives me verbal feedback on how the lights work. I thank him.

He says "What kind of car is this?" I tell him the story. He says "Wow. It looks like an exotic. Great car."

Another guy informed me that I could get different color badges for my Subaru too.

I told him the story of the twins and he said OOooooohhhhh.

People tailgating at night without anyone else around would make me think I was about to get carjacked. Especially with that 'shady area' that you proclaim to live in.

I took my gma to the chinese bbq shop so that she could run in and get some stuff. She comes back into the car, saying how all old people in there were like, "That blue car, is a damn nice car."

Me: "Yes it's factory optional Subaru STI exhaust from Japan."
Cop: "That's a really sharp looking Toyota. Off you go. Have a nice day."

For some reason my car is a absolute hit with older women (think 50+) and black guys 40+. They think it's cool.

The twins must have an exotic look to people. Everyone I work with assumes I am over paid because of my FRS.

I always tell them "I don't think a 26k car means I am wealthy." The look they get on their face when they realize its a cheap car is always priceless.

Recently at the US border crossing when crossing into Michigan with my wife on a shopping trip. Sir is this your car? when I said yes, I immediately what do you do for a living to afford a car like this?

I find kids love this car. Had a couple kids ride by on their bikes and say "we love your car!"

People who I make look stupid (Toronto is full of moron drivers) don't like it as much. Had a pickup driver call it a POS and say he'd show me what his pickup could do... I just laughed and bid him good day - sometimes laughter is the best medicine - and other times, it serves to piss off the other guy even more.
