Might have been a mistake to do it with the brakes so hot as it made everything else warm as well.

Tl:dr no i did not attempt to bed in brakes on 4 studs, it happened after when trying to diagnose. I stopped and grannied home immediately upon feeling a pressure loss

Edit: the fluid to me is puzzling. I cant imagine boiling it juat following CSGs instructions. Im sure the pad is in constant contact with the rotor but unsure if that could affect fluid in any way. The pedal went soft but I still had braking capability by applying more pressure. Any diagnosis ideas? At this point i am going to recheck each piston and bleed the brakes. Then i will rebed once i can replace the studs sometime next week. Until then the car will be sitting.
As for the studs, replace them as soon as you can. Unfortunately, I can't be available until Thursday but if you can get another vehicle to my house Sunday evening, I can give you some OEM studs and talk you thru the R&R. Especially the rears, if any rust has accumulated from the shaft to the hub, it'll take some muscle.

The brake fluid, all I can think of is that air got trapped inside the line. Possibly even some debris around the piston area. When you 'adjust' the piston, it's easier to loosen the bleed nut, relieves pressure off of the piston. Then once you insert the pads, reinstall the caliper, press the foot brake (drops the piston again), and bleed thoroughly. Once you think it's all good, turn the car on completely and press the foot brake. It should feel 'normal' - any mush you still have air in the lines. Sometimes the brake feels different between the car on and the car off so turn it on and foot brake several times.

LMK how that goes.

It was good meeting a lot of you guys, I'm glad I was finally able to make it out.

Sorry for the so-so pictures, I borrowed the camera from my sister so I don't really know what I'm doing.

Bummed I missed the drive today, I was out way too late last night. Is anyone going to Blackhawk cars and coffee tomorrow? I've never been and want to check it out.

I'll be there. If you haven't been I would try to make it out, there are some pretty awesome cars that show up.

Those turbo sounds are intoxicating! I would quickly become addicted to that BOV sound and be doing it all the time!
