Exhaust Leak help?

Hey,

So for a little less than half a year now I've been struggling with a stubborn exhaust leak at the point where my revworks UEL headers connects to the stock OP. Throttle response for the first few mms is non-existent and the noise sucks...

Tried with old gasket at first, worked for a bit, then of nope - understandable...
Tried again to no avail.

Tried with grimmspeed header gasket, worked for a while, then failed

Tried with Grimmspeed header gasket and silicone sealant, worked for a good while, then just a few days ago after a spirited mountain drive and just messing around in an empty lot....then nope - dammit

I don't believe there is a bend or anything like that on either exhaust part, is it the gasket? Just bad combination of revworks to stock OP? Think an aftermarket OP will have a good chance of solving the issue?

Any other ideas to try out?

Thank you!~

Check the alignment of the mating faces of the header and overpipe, gaskets can only do so much if the alignment is of more than about a millimeter or 2 gasket is going to leak over time. If so a trip to the exhaust shop for some heating an bending may be needed.

Save yourself any future time lost, money spent, and frustration. Buy a complete set of header gaskets (preferably grimmspeed ones) and take it to an exhaust shop and have them install it/fix any flange issues. If they are like any of the shops around me they shouldn't be to expensive.
