Here is an example when you drive your stock FRS/BRZ/86 on a cool night when it is about 60 degrees outside how does your vehicle feel? Probably pretty lively, responsive and some what powerful. Now take your vehicle place it in hot humid weather and make sure the ambient temperature outside is nearly 100 degrees, how does your car feel now? Probably slow in comparison, well that is the difference we see in the dyno chart. Though it would be interesting to see what a stock car makes on this dyno in similar conditions. 31whp difference though from a hot day? Idk about that lol. Maybe 5-10whp at most.
Maybe something is really wonky with their dyno. I would never post/get/give dynos from that shop if the difference is that bad and/or is uncorrected (it'll just cause massive confusion). Those numbers seem even worse than the mustang dynos. It looks exactly like a stock dyno run. Something's not right here. And being only mid 90deg isn't the reason. 48% humidity is average humidity too. It's not like it's 100-110 degrees outside. The person could've always got the dyno in the evening too. I still want to see better 3rd party dynos of the Stage2 91oct tune tho. I'm hoping it won't be as bad as that one though, and it'll actually be close to 200whp. . We checked into it a little deeper, and the customer mistakenly flashed the stock file. We send both stock and our tuned file on the CD, and unfortunately the customer flashed the stock file over the stock file. That is why his runs are literally identical. Discovered this after reviewing which file he actually flashed from the CD. It's no big deal, but definitely the reason it doesn't look right.
*In addition to it being over 100 degrees and humid outside with no correction.* Sincerely, Delicious Tuning Last edited by DeliciousTuning; 04-11-2019 at 06:34 PM. |

In addition, may I remind everyone that 200whp on a Dynojet can either be obtained with our E85 tune on a completely stock vehicle, or on pump gas on a vehicle that has a QUALITY header. A Borla UEL offering does not count, and I have stated this a few times. You get what you pay for, and there are very few headers out there that make the grade. There's a solid reason Michele Abbate's car is running the JDL EL offering. You will absolutely not be able to reach 200whp on 91 or 93 octane without a high quality header, and again, we have found the Borla UEL offering to be only marginally better than factory.

Btw...you think the new/upcoming Tomei headers are sufficient enough? ..they look pretty smooth and good/decent quality and also offer both EL and UEL.

I guess it would be best to just buy my own cable, instead of borrowing/renting it for a 1 time use ...just in case and also since it looks like there might be new revisions in the future.
Once you buy the Stage2 tune...are the future revisions/versions/firmware-updates free? |

so my map allows me to switch between maps 1-4, and has RaceRom features active, but was a stock map? I guess I'm a bit confused on that one. PM sent on sending you the dyno run files though.

A complete n00b question. But if you have the time to answer it, than GREAT!
My car is 100% stock with Zero modifications. So should I want a tune , I would have to buy the hardware from you guys, then pay for the maps. Cool. So besides paying for the Hardware and the Maps, What does purchasing the optional license grant me? However, should there be any updates that specific map, would I have to pay for those updates as well? Or is paying extra for updates based on modifying your base map (No matter what revision it is in) to MY specific needs? Just curious as this may be an option I'd like to pursue here shortly. -Sam
