Seeing pics like this makes me wonder, "Why in the HELL did Subaru/Toyota choose the wheels they put on this car?"

The BRZ with the Ricaro Tent has a dirty aero kit!

Couldn't agree more. I'm not usually one for modifying my cars but the stock wheels have to go!

Yes indeed... I think I even find the "steelies" on the GT-86 Japanese strip down version more pleasing to the eye.

I see good amounts of concave-ness to the rear wheels here

So there is some hope

Checking the Rays website, it looks like a 44 offset, unless there is a new size of the wheel not shown yet.

Which ones do you say?

Also btw, can one use these seats with a regular seat-belt?

If so, how much are these or similar?

Another individual perception thing I guess, because I actually liked the stock wheels, particularly after seeing them in person. Then again, I'm too cheap to change them out anyway so that probably plays into it some.

Ah, you've got me there! I have yet to spy with my little eye a FR-S or BRZ in the flesh! Just judging from photos though, I find the car more visually appealing in photos or photoshops with different wheels... Hopefully they do look better in person because I'd prefer to wait a little while before dropping money into the car.

Well, I am admittedly not a "wheel guy" so I may not be the best benchmark.

I will say that, in general EVERTHING about this car looks better in person than it does in photos, colors, curves, wheels, interior, etc. That seemed to be the impression of everyone I talked to at the 1st86 group.

I believe the only picture of the stock BRZ that threw off my senses is a new one Subaru put up showing the back of a silver premium. It is currently running on their main page... But yeah, the stock wheels just don't do it for me in pictures; but I'm looking forward to that first real eyes on to see what I notice that I didn't notice in pictures etc.

i dont remember the offset and as always the pic i shot you cant see it but i do remember that the car had not been rolled and there was more then enough room to go slightly bigger and 235 seemed to be the size most cars were running

cant remember if it still had the stock belts my guess would be no but there is still a chance as these brides are 2 piece the seats are like $450 each but there are cheaper seats out there for like around $300
