Pfft, I prefer pocket watches myself especially with a nice fitted suit. +100 for a picture of a love one in there also.

I like nice watches and try to stay away from them as much as possible cause I'd really will buy some that I really don't need.
Skeleton watches are pretty cool, but i wouln't pay over 100 for any imo.
And any watch over 2 grand better be worth it. I don't believe all of them are.
Can't say much about Pocket watches since I don't see a reason to get one.

I remember trying out a watch that was worth $22k and I was telling the salesman I saw one that looked just like it at another store for like $175. I know there's a difference in material and how technical it can get to put some of these together, but I sure do try my best not to be tempted to waste my money on such things.

I think this was the watch I tried on (shown below).

But its f&*$%!% nice though.

** It was the leather strapped one, but its the same other than that. No rubber for me.

So the character's name is Naevia and the actress's real name is Lesley-Ann Brandt and decided to look into other work so she didn't resign with Starz.

Well, recently swatch took this idea and added some crazy colors...

As "standard" as it gets. I think it's pretty cool.

Gah, I meant to say they hide the mechanism in your standard watch. Watches are fashion accessories now anyway, so what's the point in even having a face? That Swatch is really cool.

Also notice that Mercedes was not black, so probably not Yakuza related.. that is why that GT-R was chasing the guy.

No idea how many figures are involved in the price of these but my god...

As a machinist I've worked accurately to +/- .0002" before, which is tiny (and stressful). But these things are orders of magnitude more precise than that. So looking into the guts of one of these is like a spiritual experience for me.

And speaking of spiritual experiences, I haven't been to the strippers lately...

DAMN that is a crazy watch! ^^^

I had a completely clear Swatch, but the hinge at the strap cracked so it's permanently out of commission

By the way does anyone know if you can get the glass watch face replaced? Mine has some cracks :/
