Funny you should ask. We are working on smaller pulleys as we speak and problem we were having was getting the correct groove angle on the actual pulley for the teeth. We actually had to source the proper tool in order to cut it properly, but now that we have it we are going to start testing smaller and letting everyone know what is possible before it breaks.

We are definitely trying to see the limits we go to on this kit while still being reliable and we have a couple other ideas in mind too.

Cheers,

Airaid actually supplies the coupler now specifically for this kit and we can order them for whoever is interested, just email me and let me know.

We used a Mishimoto Oil Cooler kit on one of our race cars we sponsored with an Airaid intake. In order to get it to fit we made sure the oil line bent directly up and to the left side (drivers side in the US) of the vehicle. We also had to cut the front metal beam (where the OEM intake would mount) about 1 cm in order to get everything to fit tight. It is one small section you need to cut in order for everything to fit snug.

I've got to install an update on my head unit and reinstall torque over the next couple days, then I'll test it out and see if the same holds true.
The stock map cannot exceed 5.3. Something wonky is going on.

The 210+ is your friend when it finally surfaces. The IATs on the 75mm pulley go hot in the Summer here (60-70C), I dread to think what the 69 or below is like. As I run IAT based ignition retard, it starts robbing power at a decent rate.

I spray water/meth just before the throttle body. I'd rather upgrade to the 335 than spend money on the 210+ for another mild upgrade. I have also considered spraying post blower into each intake runner/per cylinder. Not interested in laminova.

A 210+ and a ~70mm pulley will be a much cheaper option for decent power without the expense of pulling the engine. I guess it depends if your end goal is to have a built motor or not.

Yeah, it struck me as odd too. I'm not sure what's up with it. Add that to the list of things to figure out.

I will say after getting a little more time with 8.59, it's spot on. Not sure how much of the improvement i'm seeing can be attributed to the 8.58 -> 8.59 changes vs the updates @DeliciousTuning made to dial in my MAF scaling to match my Perrin 3" CAI, but whatever changed certainly seems to have worked.

Completely correct on a non-intercooled kit. We actually do not recommend going below 75mm without an intercooler as there is no benefit to doing so. Though 69mm seems to be working well so far on 91 octane and intercooler, but we are still testing it and dialing in the tune a little more.

Then we are on to testing 67, 65 and 63. Pulleys on order. Though I am thinking these are going to be race application only.

Cheers,
William Knose

My kit is with I/C. I see low to mid 50C charge temps at 7k in cold weather, but now its currently 20-25C outside I'm seeing 10+ degrees more increase. For most people the timing won't change as their IAT sensor is pre-charger.

Correct the IAT is pre-charger on most kits but there will be an overall timing trim change based on ambient air temperature at the MAF sensor. That is how we have the tune setup at least.

As you have seen the ambient air temperature goes up so the charge temp goes up. With that we have an adjustment for that based on the ambient air temp.

Hey guys what's the maximum oil temperature you're seeing while driving on the street and or track? Also what's the normal operating temperature for the oil? This is with the intercooler.

Anyone else running @DeliciousTuning's 8.59 rom notice that almost all of that nasty rasp/resonance around 4k rpms is gone (or at least, greatly reduced?)
