Yeah, it's not much of a spoiler but would of been nice to see it for myself, but other than that, just seeing the car at the end was epic. Wondering if its hinting anything since they both past each other in slow mo.

I can see toyota writing a big fat check right now

The gt86 was added in the anime, in the manga it ends the same with takumi driving his dads WRX on his tofu run.

Why does everyone call it the "GT86"? Lol "GT86" is the Euro spec version.

It's just called Toyota 86 in Japan.

My own car is a Toyota 86 (Aus Spec), but I call the 86, FRS and GT86 all by the same GT86 moniker.

To be precise in Japan I think it's 86GT, the GT been the trim level... for some reason in euro the GT got put in front to GT86... GT86 sounds better than just 86 I suppose.... And in fact a japanese friend says they also mostly call it GT86 in Jap, within his relationships that is

Yes there are different trim levels in Japan... 86 GT, 86 GTS etc... but still, people are calling them GT86 can may as well just call them FR-S because one is LHD and the other is RHD.

Correct, that's how it's actually called. Those who call it "eighty-six" are technically wrong too as "hachi-roku" means "eight-six" directly translated from Japanese.
