The change from 4.10 to 4.556 has been negligable at best. Your driving style of a DD will effect your milage more. There is no change in comfort, you should read @Racecomp Engineering's review of it. His impression was equating it to a 10-15 whp feel.

The change of rpm is +300-500 at the most. Not killer.

I'd love to see an independently done dyno chart of that.

If you start with a $500 dollar Openflash Tablet you will not be disappointed. You can get a feel of what the car is capable of NA before planking down thousands for FI and support mods.

Feel free to do a dyno yourself. I can only speak to how it performed on my car, with my mods, on that dyno at that time.

It wasn't a snip directed at you if that's how you took it. I'm just skeptical of claims of 10+hp gains on air filters. What mods were different on your car from that baseline to after?

EDIT: I see those gains are with an electric supercharger on the car (nice choice btw). 10hp makes more sense when you factor in forced induction.

I have to agree with the OFT/ESC combo.
It would be worth the money at twice the cost.

And as far as the recharge time goes, there really is none. On the street you could not possibly run out of power without getting a massive speeding ticket. And going to jail.

The main question is what are you looking to get out of the car. Are you looking for speed, handling, looks?

I am personally not a big fan of doing just springs unless you do dampers with them. At that point you are at the price of a descent set of coils. Plus the coils are cheaper and easier to install.

$1,000 for BC Racing Coils

Then I would pair it with a set of Enkei RPF1 for about $950.

I know that is your max budget already but if you factor in selling off your stock rims you should be able to afford tires for it.

Drop and rims totally change a car to me, it is always the first thing I do to a car.

i don't blame you, its good to be skeptical. Both runs were with the same mods, difference is run 6 had the filter. What's interesting about the ESC is that it was only pushing about 1psi of boost at the top end but both runs had an OFT tune on them which im sure takes better advantage of the increased airflow.

This!

If I had to grand I'd being calling up Shiv for the OFT, hook that up, and wait for the ESC to get here. Then all day longgg.
