Thanks, guys. We're just trying to figure out which one that is. Is that the blue cable that came with the antenna adaptor?

I ordered mine on the 13th, and it came today. Long enough wait, but not unbearable.

So far, I've just hooked it up on the bench and messed with it a bit. I rooted it and installed a few apps. Hope to get it installed this weekend.

So - I got mine to work after I installed FoxFi. I could not get the built in Verizon app to work. Here's the catch - though. Actually - a couple of them...

1) FoxFi made me launch the Verizon hot spot app in a 30 second window. It checked my "subscription". So - don't count on the "free" hotspot. I have a nationwide unlimited plan that I grandfathered into and have had for years. The thing is - it doesn't include the Verizon Free hotspot. So - I had to add a $30 feature to my account. I might call Verzizon and have them turn it off and then see if FoxFi manages to get around it. There is a hack that used to work when turning on the Verizon hotspot - just hitting the HOME button on the device and it would leave the hotspot up.

2) FoxFi installs a certificate and a VPN. Basically, they have access to all my data - typed in passwords etc. Not real happy with that. They are probably just fine but it freaks me out to send all of my personal stuff to some company I don't know.

3) Anyway - the ca-fi works like a charm now. Just getting it dialed in so everything launches on boot, connects, etc.

It was a buzz to be streaming Fast and Furious from my Google play account on my dash

Ya, you need to trim & redrill new holes for the brackets to fit our headunit tho. (though because you have an 86, this might not be the case)

But its an even easier install for us then americans because we dont have any amp stuff to deal with so it just works out of the box.

You do need to get another harness for radio tho.

It's been a while since I've done it, and it depends on which twin you have. In the BRZ, I believe the blue wire on the antenna adapter is unused. I think you have to repin (from either an extra adapter, or use the SWC pin since we don't have steering wheel controls) something in like spot 9 or 10 on the harness, and then tap the wire from that pin into the remote turn on wire.

It's an FRS. I think we have the antenna blue wire unused.

Use Wifi Tether Router if you're rooted for free hotspotness.

We got the door speakers working. Our CarHome is crashing now, though. We emailed CaFi tech support. Will share reply.
