I've got the same phone on the same network, but I'm still waiting on my Ca-Fi. Once I get it installed and running, I'll let you know how it works.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...eControl&hl=en
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...trolPlus&hl=en
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...artSound&hl=en
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...VyRW5nRnJlZSJd

I'm going to try them out for the first time on my way home from work
So I almost blew out my eardrums with these on the road, they do not work as I expected. Instead of bumping up the volume a notch or down a notch when your speed increases or decreases (no matter what you set your volume to manually), they set the volume to specific levels based on your speed, so if you're going 40 you can have it set to be at level 14, this is not ideal as you can't turn down the volume while moving without it jumping back up to that predefined setting. There has got to be some app the just triggers volume+1 or volume-1 when you go say ~10mph faster or slower! Times like these I wish I had stayed the programmer path

Edit: looks like I can make this happen in Tasker (love this app), I'll post up when I figure out the ideal action sequence.

Cool. I have an e-mail off to Will at ca-fi as well. This project has gone kicking and screaming across the finish line.

Sorry if this question has been asked in this thread, but being an Android device does it use Google Play Store? I guess my actual question is - can I get the Spotify app on the device itself, or will I still have to link my phone up with bluetooth? Thanks!

It does have the standard Google Play Store. He shows it in the first post.

Yes, it uses the Google Play Store, so you can install Spotify onto the Ca-Fi itself, as long as you have internet access of some sort.

[EDIT]-ninja'd. :P

Shweet. Thanks guys. I'll be ordering one of these babies... now. Hopefully it's on Amazon Prime so I can get my impatient person shipping.

@logoris and I wired one in today, but we lost the use of the door speakers. We're trying to figure out why. Any ideas? Everything else works fine.

No big deal there, you just didn't wire the stock amp to power on. A few people in this thread have made that mistake. There are instructions on how to fix that somewhere on a previous page, but it's also in multiple places on the forum in other head unit install threads.
