Vinyl Wrapping Door Jambs
Hey everyone,
I've been planning on wrapping my car for a while now and have decided that I am going to take the time to do a complete color change including the door jambs. Seeing as that this car only has two doors and the jambs aren't overly complicated I'm really thinking that I can do the jambs quite nicely. I plan on doing a complete write up of this process in the DIY section once I get all of my stuff together. In order to get the best application, I was thinking of removing the doors completely to get full access to the door jambs to make a clean really clean contact with the door. My question to the forum is if anyone has any experience removing the doors to do such an install? Yes it might be overkill, but its the look I want to achieve as long as I can do it safely and without damage to the car's hinges and such. Would really appreciate any feedback onto the matter. Thanks! -Joe |
