Good decision. You going with the decals or without them? I figured I would try them and could remove them if I didn't like them, but I ended up liking them especially when the wheel is in motion. I don't think I ever posted my new Meaty setup on my E92 M3. 18x10.5 +22 with 275s square:

looks really cool!

I will keep those decals. They looks really good IMO.

I will run 255/35 square setup.

im picking up 18x9.5 et 40 wheels with 265/35/18 tires, i wont have my kw v3s installed yet but I am trading my stock wheels so i will be driving home on the new set up. Will I need spacers front and rear? what size, its just temporary, I will be installing coilovers the next day

you are running the same setup as jive turkey. with -2 camber, you will not need spacers. You might need to notch the rear bumper tab and roll the front fender slightly. I have 255 tires with the same specs and have no issues at all. Did not need to notch or roll

he is not talking about fender clearance he's talking about inner strut clearance. Those wheels won't fit with stock suspension so he will need a spacer to drive away with them but I'm unsure of what size spacer....
@mkivalex Worst come to worst get a 25mm spacer so you will for sure clear it and drive for a day looking like a straight g with your wheels way outside your fenders. hehehe

General question for the meaty tire people. I run 17x9 with 225/45R17 square fitment for autocross/track days, but am considering a daily/show setup of 18x8.5/9.5 and 225/40/18 front, 255/35/18 rear. I have the tires left over from a previous project, so I'd rather not buy new.

Question is, can you fit these without coilovers? If so, what offest would you guys recommend front and rear? I am on Tanabe gf210, which is a 0.75" drop. I would like to avoid fender work as well since the FR-S is my company car and may need to go back to stock someday.

Sorry for the noob question!

woops, I see what he ment. Maybe just consider getting the KWs installed first or borrowing a set of stock wheels from someone. Buying spacers would be such a waste of money. I cant imagine what would happen if you hit a pothole with that much poke. Probably rip your fender apart.

why take the 17x9 off? just put on a bigger tire on that wheel. a 225 isn't exactly square or meaty on a 9' wheel.

why staggered? IMO square looks best and also handles best on these cars.

with stock struts you wanna be in the low 40's high-mid 30 offsets.

dont worry about fender work, there isn't much to do anyways, even if you do it they will literally have no idea.

Yup. Gloss black. The APEX is just vinyl decals I ordered on line. I wanted something to tie the wheels to the calipers since I had to abandon the RPF1s.

Whistled through a tin can and string.
