Probably just some random bro who works at the track taking his car for a spin. And here we are assuming it's some prototype.

Front and back wheels don't have the same finish - a bit odd for an OEM mule I'd think. I wonder if this is just a Gazoo Racing test/setup session for their race cars... OTOH those aren't racing seats in the car and I am not seeing a roll cage either....

Okay, you guys seem to have a serious misconception of how things are going down at the Ring. It's not an open road 24/7. Industry pool slots are sold a pretty penny and no, "local bros" don't get to sneak in.

Seriously, just look at the damn car with its antennas and pitot tube. Its a freaking test mule if I ever saw one.

A test mule for what?

Not production ANYTHING I'm guessing.

They're posting without reading the link or the thread and without any understanding of Nürburgring or prototype cars.

Like I said, the BRZ tS was also spied as a prototype at N'Ring before being released as a Japan-only edition.

I am 100% certain that is a manufacturer development vehicle.

So am I. Coincidentally, that makes 100% of the people on this thread who actually drove around the Ring.

Wow I don't have words...

Ok fine, it's an OEM prototype with boy racer parts on it, so what? Most people don't care about having authentic JDM badges, why should we care about an overpriced spoiler or new front lip from Toyota? Aside from them promising this stuff in the first place and all the armchair jockeys saying it needs more power and speculating that this means Toyota is finally making the perfect hardcore car they'll never buy.

You don't have to care, @strat61caster, that's entirely up to you. Feel absolutely free not to read (let alone comment) about something that you're not interested in.

Although I think at least some people might care around here. Why, you say? Because an OEM test mule running bigass brakes, extra cooling (incl. oil cooler, as seen in the pictures) and loads of downforce (for a road car) is a sure sign Toyota is cooking up a much anticipated hot version of our beloved twin.

JDM only? Probably. Overpriced? Almost definitely. Note worthy? Absolutely.

I was gonna post in this thread about stuff but then I saw this picture. So now I'm posting about the picture. So sexy.
