Which isn't untrue. Then again, OC is generally filled with attractive people. Depends on what kind of vibe you're going for.
Aliso Viejo, Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel - More suburby Huntington Beach, Orange, Laguna Beach - More like what you see in "The O.C." Fountain Valley, Tustin, Fullerton - More mellow laid back IMO, of the places I have to frequent, I enjoy going to Huntington Beach the most. It seems to have the most diverse mix of fun and relaxed locations. |

And for reference about Laguna Beach apartments, here's just a quick search for a 1BR/1BA place.
http://www.apartments.com/California...Zip&isFCL=true $1640 for 1BR/1BA 554 Sq. Ft. Ridiculous. |

And the thing is, for that same price point, you can get a much larger apartment in Huntington Beach in a good area. Just one of those things I guess.

Look at places near the market place off of Tustin ranch road. We stayed at a complex called Rancho Mariposia. Nice size 1BR 1Bath units well under your price range.

I'll PM you info about the apartment community my fiance works at. Very nice place in Irvine, I'm sure you'll enjoy what it has to offer you.
