I'm looking at Kosei K1-TS. Kosei lists them as available in 17x7, 42mm offset, 5x100/114.3 and they should be ~$200 and ~15lb but I can't find a source yet at this offset.
I looked at the Koseis on TireRack and it looks like the K4R is available in 17x7 and only weighs 14lbs! I wonder if the 50mm offset and a slightly wider 225 tire will cause them to rub?

With a higher offset wheel, you can just run spacers to get back to stock offset or even stock plus the allowed 1/4". Personally, I'd rather have a wheel with the offset allowance built in so I don't have to mess with the spacers and/or worry about having enough stud length. Unfortunately, Kosei doesn't list any K4R info on their website and I haven't found any other source for what offsets might be available on the K4R.
