Anyone have a hood painted?

I visited my parents yesterday, and sometime during the day one of their horses decided to bit my hood in multiple places. There are now scratches all the way down to the bare metal in multiple areas and it is incredibly noticeable.

Has anyone had to have a hood painted and have any idea on how much I am looking at for a repair bill?

Why don't you call a local body shop and schedule an appraisal instead of asking a bunch of random people on the internet?

Talk to the horses and get their info. Get their insurance to cover the cost.

Because I have a job and work during the day...I didn't think quick easy answers were such a burden on people.

They have big mouths, and big teeth...

This is the first new car I have ever owned out of 9 cars I have owned and it has by far had the worst cosmetic luck...And I have treated this car much, much better then any car I have ever owned and I have been known to go a little overboard.

Go during your lunch break? I'm sure everyone on this forum works at a body shop and can pull a repair quote out of their ass for your zip code and "horse biting damage".

These horses roam freely on your folks property? "Within" hood biting range?

You would be the first that I know of to have a horse-hide hood protector. That's what I'd do.
