lol, NSX have awful resale and that is a fact. people can list them for as high as they want but that doesn't mean they going to sell for anywhere near the asking price.

a guy in the Houston area got one with a blown motor for $5k.
a 93 also in Houston with 90k miles just sold $13k
one of my customer's son got one that was just traded in at CarMax with 100k miles for $11k.
a few years back when i was looking into one (91-94 around 80k-100k) they were going for $14k-$22k.

but thanks for sharing

A few years ago sure, they are on their way up in price. That fact has been reported countless times

I think once the 86 program ends, Toyota might bring back the RWD/4WD Celica. Their 3 sports car family should be Celica/Supra/MR2 imo and the hybrid sports car is the next phase for this decade.
Recently Toyota sports car have about a 8-10 year or so life cycle.

Currently what is being reported is Toyota and BMW are working on a new modular platform that will underpin all future sports car for both companies.

I'm not buying this for a long list of reasons. Primarily if they drop down to one model for 2nd gen, its going to be sold as a Toyota and that means bye bye Scion. Also the BMW-Toyota rumor is geared toward BMW helping Toyota a high-performance sports car which, I would gather, would be some where in the Nissan GT-R category (read Supra). In return Toyota would be helping BMW in hybrid tech.

Might be selfish, but sounds good to me.

I have mine already, and it would make it feel that much more special.

One of the few cars I've seen get discontinued after four years (99-2002) was the second gen G20. So it's not unheard of to have a life cycle less than 5 years.

I see a lot of people over at TTAC wanting to see the Scion brand die off and go back to being Toyota badged.

I heard they're going to bring it back as an uglier 4-door with AWD and a turbo.

i just think Scion needs to go back to its root if you.

the xB and tC have gotten ugly and pricier.

the FRS could be sold as a Toyota. i dont really mind either way.
