So I want to try to see one more time if anybody's interesting in having a BRZ/FRS BBQ at Kensington Park? Probably a Saturday sometime in July

I'm down but not the 20th or the 4th weekends I have a track days.

In other news my legacy broke again out in the middle of nowhere but some nice guy by the name of cooter was happy to literally duct tape it back together.

Anyone interested in nib Ofh with gaskets or nib nameless overpipe/mid pipe? Can't stop looking at shiny turbo

Are 5mm spacers a thing? The smallest I could find in my (albeit short) search was 10mm. My wheels are +50 as opposed to the stock +48 so I want to move the wheels out a little.

I have heard of them but I have never seen them in person. Honestly the best places to call are you local tire shops and cheap auto parts stores.

I'm working on a big brake upgrade that should be pretty cool if everything works out as planned. I don't want to post it on the main forum until I have a write up prepared.. but I'll share some details with my local group:

Z32/Legacy GT BBK:
Front:
4 piston front calipers with disks almost as big as STI Brembos
14lb weight savings
under $600 for a quality setup.. under $500 for an OEM type for calipers, brackets, rotors and pads.

Rear:
still researching that.. I have the calipers already but I'm working on other cost effective measures.

I'm doing a fluid swap and stainless lines as well.. but those are somewhat independent so I left the cost out.

I keep setting plans to work on my car and I keep having to push them back due to family obligations.. But, I'm hoping to do this in July sometime.

If anyone wants details, PM me and I'll share more info.

Hey Guys,

Its Friday night and I am here reading bunch of forum posts. I decided to check out the Issues/Warranty/TSB section. It is really scary reading some of their posts from broken catalytic converters, to broken steering rods, to blown engines, to broken bearings.

Has anyone here had a major powertrain issues? Minor? Engine issues and transmission issues?

I know I am possibly overreacting on some of these but reading posts of people's engine blowing up around 20k to 30k doesn't sound too comforting.

I do drive my car spiritedly sometimes but I baby it most of the time.

I am sad to be selling the car next year when I get relocated to HK so I guess I shouldnt worry but I do not know when shit will happen. I am not good that dealing with that stuff.

I just wrote this to let the community about my concern. If you had the same concerns please let me know. If you dont, let me know why.

Thanks.
