Thats why the real drag bikes have wheelie bars. I'm sure there is some functionality by mildly stretching the tire.

Cars today are not stiffer than the 60's cars!!! Todays junk just doesn't have the torque old V8's had. Not even the new V8's. And I can prove today's frameless bodies are more likely to fold up over the 60's and 70's full frame cars! You fix those cars after a fender bender. Todays cars anything over 5 mph is more to fix it than it cost, if it's fixible! Vinyl Tops were a easy design/ don't have to fill the qtr. panel to roof seam as well factory deal. But many cars such as my 69 Grand Prix used the vinyl top as a a classy addition to the style of the car. I can not think of any of todays cars that the looks could be enhanced by a vinyl top, but then most of todays cars are so ugly, no fugly that vinyl couldn't hurt them either! chicago condos*

1 you are a dinasour, go back to your 5 tonne cars that leave the driver in pieces after a accident and demolish pedestrians (while at it u wanna go old school geta straight steering member not a colapsible one, then hit a wall and get your chest crushd... FUN) 2 vinyl tops were used because at first the fabrication methods were too poor to make proper metal roofs, then later when they could make proper roofs the poorer companies still couldnt afford the technology.. 3 old V8s were overengineered hunks of iron that were not designed for the power they had, because that sort of maths is VERY hard (if not imposible) without solidworks, ansys, inventor, matlab and a good calculator. thats why they can be done up easily with TODAYS technology.. wile your at it go and put 4 drum brakes on your car with asbestos pads and then take a good whif when changing the shoes. DINASOUR (i bet you think roots superchargers are the best ones 2 ey..)

You are true in regards to the old muscle cars being solid but look how much those things weigh and how un-efficient they were. Thanks the gas crisis of the early 70's to help conform consumers about gas guzzling V8's! I also find it hilarious that you're talking so much shit yet you own a Honda Accord!

![]() and they last forever ![]() Lets put the hypocrite a side lets do a simple math on torque a 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix 7.0liter V8 has a 472 ft-lb torque, thats 67.2 lb-ft per liter A 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG 6.2liter V8 has a 480ft-lb torque thats .8 less liter than the dinosaur grand prix and 77.2 lb-ft per liter if the SLS had a 7.0liter thats 540 lb-ft another one Lexus ISF 5.0liter V8 has a 371 lb-ft thats 74.2 lb-ft per liter is the lexus ISF will have a 7.0liter thats 519 lb-ft one more time a lexus LS600 has a 5.0liter V8 has a 385ft-lb torque, thats 77 lb-ft per liter wow thats almost as the $138,000 SLS, If the LS600 will have a 7.0liter engine thats 539 lb-ft thats sad isn't it that the mighty american muscle car on paper is just pathetic o well pontiac is just another memory, people will buy cuz it looks cool on the garage.
