Recoloring OEM diffuser
Has anyone tried this? I have the sterling silver BRZ and I was wondering if I should take it off and try to spray it or plastidip it to match.
I can't remember what PlastiDip's silver looked like, but is it close to SSM color from the factory? Or should I look into ordering paint from Subaru or buying a thousand touch up pens? |

I think it's better black. It makes the diffuser look stupid and a huge eyesore.
Almost unfinished looking |

i like color match diffuser, makes the car unique at least. if all black makes no common sense to others.

I bought some WRB rattle cans from GrimmSpeed. I applied somewhere between 3-5 coats of WRB and 4+ coats of gloss clear coat. I let each cure and did a light sanding with 1000 grit wet sand paper between the WRB and clear coat. I also did a more generous sanding after the clear coat cured and then polished and buffed it before installing.
