Speaking of the fuel gauge, if you forget which side of the car the fuel filler cap is located, there's an arrow on the fuel gauge to remind you that it's on that side over there →.

I didn't even think about this the first time I filled up. Just pulled in and filled her up!

if you hold the right pedal all the way down for more than 10 seconds red and blue party lights will illuminate the interior.

It's in the 5th menu of the oem nav unit under 'Bluetooth options'.

Not all cars have this. Most new cars do, but a lot of older ones don't.

truth, my 92 civic does not have one. I check most cars even when I know what side it is just out of habit.

This is more of a general life hack: If you live in a hot place and the inside of your car gets really warm (too warm for you to get in comfortably) and you want to quickly cool it down, here's what you do:

1. Make sure all doors and windows are closed.

2. Fully open a window on one side of the car.

3. Repeatedly fully open and close a door that is opposite (and diagonal if 4-doors) of the open window.

This will force air to circulate inside the car, cooling things down much quicker than say turning the AC on full blast and waiting for 5-10 minutes before getting in.

Alternatively, get one of those expensive tints (3M Crystalline, Suntek CXP) and you won't have to worry too much about this. Also, it's not just the darkness of the tint that determines the amount of heat rejection. I have the 70% Crystalline (medium light) and it performs way better than my brother's super dark limo tint.

I apologize if this has been brought up, or common knowledge..

The pre-2014 FR-S premium headunit brightness/contrast can be modified for both day-mode and night-mode. You need to turn on headlights to activate night-mode, go into the display settings and you will notice it differs from you day-time settings. Now I have perfect settings for both night and day vision.

If your at a red light and want to avoid tripping the ego sensors that cause so many other people to want to race us do this.

Take first quickly up to the torque dip then shift earlyish at 3k. This signals to other drivers subconsciously your not trying to race. I even take my time in this hift allowing noticeable wieght shift in car. Then you can wind second all the way out and usually that order of operations subconsciously seems to convince people they don't need to race me cause I wasn't really trying with that long slow early shift to second.

Also. I hurt my right knee recently amd found getting in keeping right leg completly straight is kind of easier in a way. Especially if your trying to avoid kicking that door frame
