Installed mine over the weekend, I watched the mishimoto video on youtube which kinda helped.

I don't know if you recall, but I can really hear the engine timing belt and the pulleys now, I don't know if I just didn't notice them before or what.

Stating the semi-obvious - With any of these airflow mods and w/o a tune - the ECU needs a bit of time to adjust to your changes. So - give your vehicle some idle time, restarts and 20 or so miles of cruising speed. (How hard you accelerate and your individual driving habits don't have an effect on this part of the ECU self-calibration) Basically - it might run rough for a bit - don't freak out.

Inlet tube only doesn't give anymore noticable power, just a little better throttle response in my opinion.

Got my tube today and all it was was the actual tube. No cap, no instructions.
Can anyone tell me what to do with the inlet tube accessory tubes that run toward the passenger side, it seems to connect to some airbox??

@PERRIN_Jeff

It might help to contact the manufacturer's customer service if you got it new.

You can download the instructions here. Did you get it new? If you did, it for sure should have came with all that!

I ordered mine yesterday not really for the "gains in horsepower" which I'm sure won't be noticeable (If there really is any at all), but for getting rid of the sound tube and adding a bit of color (red). I already have a K&N drop in filter but I'm thinking about a foam filter instead. From what I hear, they are slightly better?
