nice bro you'll love the sound. The gasket's exhaust pipe hole fit perfect but the bolt holes would not line up with the front pipe's bolt holes so I cut the outer ends of the gasket, after that i still could not get a seal so i just welded it.
Not at all sure how loud or quiet it is going to be. From what I could tell it seems like a Q300 on its own is way too quiet to get good sound out of, just wondering what it will be like with the front pipe.

yes the q300 will be quiet on its own.

if you plan to eventually get headers and/or overpipe i would recommend a catted front pipe (which you have on the way), catless with one or two of those parts installed will sound really raspy, and in my opinion cheap sounding RICER status, you defintitely dont want that.

if all you want is the catback and front pipe i definitely consider a catless front pipe itll be nice and throaty on throttle and will help the q300 be louder. ass you can see in my picture of underneath my car the q300 already has a pretty big resonator on its mid pipe.

Definitely youtube the different combos and you will see what im talking about

Oh trust me I've watched so many videos of different combos I think I fried my brain one night. The front pipe I ordered is catless but has a resonator as I'm trying to keep myself from doing anything else with the exahust beyond these 2 items. I would love to do UEL (used to have a wrx) but I'm trying not to touch the engine and also my wife is really not so keen on the UEL sound she's way too used to growing up with highly modified bmw's and their smooth sound. So if I ever do get UEL and it gets raspy I'll remember about that and pickup a catted front pipe. I've def. heard a video or 2 of Q300's with too little restriction and it does get ugly sounding.

i know the feeling bro!! ive been frying my brain on all the parts im getting after this deployment lol. HAHAHA!! gfs... i can tell you my setup is definitely girlfriend approved cruising around sounds as if the vehicle is stock lol. bmws make such a nice sound lol well the RESONATED front pipe is the front pipe with the HIGH flow cat, an unresonated front pipe is basically a straigh pipe, catless. just to clarify for you.

The parts you ordered will give you a great sound and definitely be loud enough for you to love but quiet enough for your gf not to hate it!

lol yeah! i would hate life if my car sounds raspy like that! especially since the frs has so few hp, not if i had 500 hp vehicle to back up the rasp i wouldnt care, well kinda.

nice man yeah quad tips look awesome I actually plan to cut the tips off and add dual tips to each side lol, might not though cause the invidia tips look very clean and factory looking. Nice! you be safe to bro, how much time you got left?

The Q300 is very hard to beat for the price. It does look OEM. I should be out of this shithole around the end of July. I'll be posting pics and videos as well.

Why you dind't go with invidia also for overpipe and why you choose perrin ? Any difference? I'm thinking in purchasing invidia all down to the haader (looking what header works better with that) what do u think ?
