new parts come in with light damage all the time. when there are none available for a few days insurance just has us repair the damage and the supplier deducts it from our cost.

if there are swirl marks around that area it is possible that they just wetsanded something out of the clear and polished it with a small 3" air polisher. on fresh paint it usually dies back like that after a day or two since the small air polisher is not strong enough to truly polish out those sand scratches, also the clear is still shrinking up and wetsand scratches tend to shrink back and show and a re-polish is necessary. that could just be the case. even when i paint a full car, wetsand and buff. i make them bring the car back after a month because you will see light wetsand scratches and haze appear from the shrinkage process. a second polish and its perfect from there out

Appreciate the comments. Would touching up the spots on the upper corners where it looked like they set it on the ground be ok long term? or is it something I should be concerned about?

have them touch it up. just make sure they put clear over top because if its waterborne base coat it will not hold up without clear. solvent base coat it is not really an issue but the clear still makes it look better

Yeah I would be pissed hearing that and seeing no more footage. Would question the entire completion of the job without a doubt.

The manager took a look at the video and looked like he saw a ghost. He asked me to email the video to him so that he can review it with the owner tomorrow and follow up with me.

Looking at selling BRZ. Blue 6spd limited 2013, 33k. Bumper scuff, but mach v springs and billet reverse lockout, fuku intake, custom blue int, grimspeed hood struts, batt tie down, oil cap, 50% tint. New OEM tires.

KBB says 20500 in good. Nada was around there too.

We all know those are guides....I've been out of BRZ/FRS stuff for a long while now. What would I realistically be able to get for it? Need to see how flipped I am.
