The car is daily usable. Last week it ran 139.8 still with 1.9 on the 60' We are having problem with the launch control on the ecutek. So we are on it to test again.

Ok, so it wasn't a FBM short block?

Damn almost trapping 140 now?! I'm surprised it is spinning so much still with the big boy tires. That is a lot of power for a light car though. So we need to go buy the turbo you have and a full blown built motor

A Full Blown FA20 built engine is no joke and has great potential. I honestly think it is the best FA20 build you can get and at a decent price too. LJ @FullBlown did my build and I would highly recommend it if you are thinking of pushing your car further. Now only if the sheriffs didn't have a hard on for getting up in everyone's kool aid...

I am bumping this thread because I was looking at Hot Rod about drag week and was curious what the fastest ever(swap or no swap) FRS/BRZ has been as of yet. And the search function on this forum sucks btw...

In my opinion this is the fastest FR-S in the world right now.

Why?

Because is still a FA20
Still have OEM Differencial
Still have OEM Transmission

10.8 1/4 mile

I just dont like people to cut corners men, is a new plataform why make the gt86 an old plataform just for times. Doing a 2jz going fast anyone can do that, that enguine have been in the market for 20 years we know everything about it. What is the challenge there?

Changuing the whole differencial and putting a ford there is just disrespectfull to the plataform.

What are we going to do next to ir a euro lisense plate!

What is become of it when you mix ford and subaru and toyota?

Toyobaford?
JADM?

So what do you think of say Kerry Bale's s2000 or speedfactorys civic? If I put driveshaft shop axles and driveshaft in my car does that make it a toyobarudss? There's a difference between dropping in a 2jz and just changing the differential, the diff doesn't add HP it just makes the car more reliable and theoretically because it's heavier would slow the car down. Anyone can pick holes in anyones timeslip to try to find a way to say they're faster. If you want to go down that road then my car is the fastest street BRZ/FRS because my times are on drag radials not slicks, see not fun is it.
