It didn't, well, I'm not sure if I just missed something, but it didn't seem to recognize or change the button inputs.

Ahh - got it. Are most people just letting the ipod connector sit unused behind the head unit? That's what I will probably end up doing.

I tried it out with my old iPhone 4 just to see how it worked. It played whatever song was "now playing" when I plugged it in, but then it began an incredibly lengthy indexing process, during which I couldn't change songs or anything. If it has to do that every time you plug it in, it's not even worth using, much less paying $30 for an adapter to use it (since Ca-Fi was kind enough to include the antiquated, 2 year old 30 pin dock connector rather than the modern Lightning adapter).

If you bought the Toyota Universal one and it came with a black decoder box, then you have a CAN version.

Do they send an Email when the Order is dispatched?

I ordered mine on the 6th, still waiting for info from them...

Btw: The OEM Headunit is equalizing the sound depending on the volume. It rises the Bass when low, and lowers it when turning up the volume. Also the whole frequency band is not really linear.

I want to connect a USB-Soundcard like this Behringer:
[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Behringer-UCA202-Audio-Interface/dp/B000KW2YEI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1403087179&sr=8-1&keywords=behringer+uca202"]Amazon.com: Behringer UCA202 Audio Interface: Musical Instruments[/ame]

And then i should get a totally linear frequency output for my audio processor.

Dude, there's no way that's going to work, or I'd be SHOCKED if it did. This is an android based HU, not a PC. I doubt the USB ports on this thing handle any type of sound output whatsoever.

Android Supports it since 4.0 (or 4.1?), so for example it works with the Samsung s3 and s4 without installing any drivers.

But of course, it is unsure if it will Workshop with the daslinq. But it might be possible, also Android Tablets and even the ipad work with external soundcards.

Or with the dash piece not popping when putting the interior back together? for some reason mines isn't going in right. Is any modification needed to get it to fit right/

Also, this is probably a no brainer, but if you're going to install door speakers,tweeters,etc., you don't have to connect the am wire to pin 9. I am running hertz hsk 163 and just ran a wire to my trunk connected to my 6 channel that I heat shrinked to the amp wire from the HU.
