If this is indeed true and documented then I might have to just suck it up and go argento :/

I still vote for the 10 series to save you some money, especially if you enjoy the color. I LOVE the color so I am very happy with the 10 series.
Yes I would love to see list of official bug fixes, did a little search but I'm at work, apologies if it is out there and readily available.

From my experience (on third pump now), it normally appears within 500 miles. My current pump is probably around 4000 miles and I will only get it slightly with certain gasses.

I'm at 28K with no crickets, so don't let that deter you from getting the model you want!

Didn't they get rid of Argento for 2015 and add a color similar to silver ignition?

Did they really??? First I have heard of this. Just heard the white was changing...

Argento I think became Steel. Get which ever car you like. I picked up a MY13 in feb of this year. The dealership gave me a deal I couldn't refuse. No regrets at all!

The chirping pump is still there but I don't think it will be as loud. Most things such as the shifter, the dtc's, calibrations to the computer and many others should be addressed. Obviously its not out yet but I'd say there is a good chance many things will already be remedied.

It only looks like that in pictures, the FR-S steel is the same as the Ice Silver Metallic on the 2015 BRZ, WRX and Forester which is nothing like Silver Ignition.

On the other hand, Silver Ignition is a spectacular color, has dual-climate, push-button. You could pick up tips and sharkfin for just around $200 if it really mattered to you. You would probably end up saving more getting the 2013 10-Series.

Goodluck!
Will the US spec have JDM tips in 2015? I thought they didn't come on the US version because of some regulation saying exhaust tips can't stick out too far or something.

The new US spec tips are just shorter versions of the JDM
