Well I hope to be one of the first, but I am not holding any hope to get one in June/July. I am hoping to get mine before the August bank holiday so I can take it to Cornwall for a good drive around the twisty cornish roads

Ordered ours back in December, just to get on the waiting list I think our dealer is getting 13 cars and were in the first 2 hopefully - can't decide on colour or trim but need to make a decision soon - car due out early July.

Cant remember if its been posted elsewhere but i spoke to my garage at the weekend and they think if the first orders are lucky we may still get our cars in June, but their official Target dates are apparently;

July 1st - First Customers get their cars
July 9th - Dealerships to get Demonstrators
July (Mid) - Showroom models arrive.

Now to decide whether to book off some time and take it to some fine roads abroad for that first week in july!

crikey, yeah you may want to firm up your order soon if you want it for release day!?

i spec'd my one up (on the order system) in december, as well as a couple other people from here too.
Prices for the extras are only just out so my garage rang me a few days ago to confirm prices and ensure the order is correct.. i guess as it'll be in the line now to be built? (..given we're just a couple months away from i guess when they need to be loaded to be shipped over to the uk?!.. assuming it takes a couple weeks at least to make its way over by boat?)

Thats exactly what I thought! I gave my final details and got my order on the system in January but I placed my order in December. I had already order red leather and Sat nav so I was jsut waitnig for them to release pricing.

Steven Eagell Toyota have I think 5 dealers and I was the first of the handful of the orders taken.

Mine was on the order system back in December too (6th). I was told at the time that I could wait for the full details etc but then I would not be in the first batch (I heard this from a few dealers)

I had leather specified I am just waiting to confirm that the Sat Nav has been added.

Mine is the first for the Motorline group, hopefully unless thye have messed the orders around it should come before their demonstrator even though that was ordered first (on the 5th)

Thats interesting, I held off because my dealer wanted me to wait for more information but in Jan a called them and insisted they put it on the system. They told me last week I should be getting mine early July before they get their showroom car.

I have to admit my dealer hasnt been the best informed so it is quite likely I wont be in the first batch

I guess we'll see. I was apparently the first of a handful of orders from the steven eagal group.

I noticed a new forum about the car comming with 10 miles on the clock. Do you guys have any idea what "checks" they will make?

I am sure the technicians/sales rep/managers ect will want to take it out for a spin if its the first car to arrive at the dealer.

I havent had mine confirmed yet for delivery date but I was told that it was one of the first on the system in the country.

I got mine on the system straight away as they wanted a quite frankly ridiculously large deposit and there was no way that they were getting that without an order.

I am not sure what will happen with PDI driving but I have made quite clear to them that I work in car development so hopefully they wont try and pull a fast one by letting it out for several drives.

A colleague of mine took the dev tools with him when he picked up his last new car (I wont say what not to name and shame) plugged it in on the hand over inspection and promptly showed the sales manager that his car with ~15 miles on it had already been taken to >6000rpm on the PDI. Needless to say he got a sizeable discount and an apology not to take it up with head office.

I intend to pick it up as soon as possible (1st July) anyway.

My company designs and supplies automotive diagnostics to nearly all UK Toyota dealers. So I have made it clear that I have scan tools to check the computer to see if it been ragged aroudn the block! Hopefully that is enough of deterrent.

I have asked to be there for any PDI but recieved no response yet.

We'll have to see which one of us gets the car first!

Im getting Dark Red manual with Red Alcantera and Sat Nav :happy0180:
That reminds me, when the Colours and prices were released I had the opportunity to change to a differenct colour and they said it wouldnt affect the delivery date. This was only a couple weeks back!

nice one

I haven't asked about colour changes (I have thought about it a few times)

Mine is a black manual with leather and hopefully satnav. Now all I need to do is to find out the part numbers for the Nur kit as Toyota UK don't seem to want to supply it.

Another thing to mention is that the system is showing that the demo car ( and possibly mine the salesman seemed to contradict himself) is down as for delivery 17th-24th June.

Hi UK peeps. Currently have a manual orange GT86 ordered at RMB Toyota Teesside (Currently have a silver Celica, the GF has a red MX5, had a black car and there are too many white cars about at the mo IMO so fancied something different). Had my name down since the FT86II concept was unveiled so I better be getting the first car. I had asked them to call me to confirm options but have not had anything yet. I expressed my interest in upgrading to leather if the cost was not to bad when official details were announced. To be honest they havnt been on the ball that much and I may shop around and transfer my order elsewhere.
