![]() I love the WRX! Could have had the STI mid grade for almost the same cost as the Sport tech WRX but I preferred the refined nature of the FA20T and the much better fuel economy. It handles like last years STI, so they say. For me this is primarily a commuter car and will never see a track day so it made the most sense. Got practicably every dealer installed option too, well not quite every. The car suits me perfectly. On the other hand if you don't need a 4 door, I highly recommend the twins!! Especially if you want to customize it.

The STI has more power higher in the revs, the WRX has lots of power as low as 2000 RPMs. Both handle extremely well. I put the Subaru short shifter in my WRX, definitely makes it crisper. The WRX will get ~ 25% better combined fuel economy as well. The new WRX handles like day and night compared to the previous generation.

I think this is the first MY where I like the looks of the WRX over the STi. Probably because I'm not a fan of the wing.

I was deciding between these two cars. I ended up picking the WRX after driving both cars. The Everyday Driver video made a good point, you need to know what kind of roads you are mostly likely to drive on. In cities where highways and roads are mostly straight, I believe the WRX would be the better choice.
