alright Ladies and Germs, its time to help a fellow car lover out. I want to pick a custom plate and I am having such a hard time deciding on what I want. So I want to start fresh and consider the community's thoughts. let's here it, what should Ollis put on his license plate? i'll take any legit suggestion and weigh them out.

Ollis is taken? I just changed mine actually. Went to "TENDY" which is a short name for my position in hockey, a goaltender.

Is it normal to feel some grinding when I press down on the clutch when the engine isn't on? It happens only I fully press down on it so maybe the last 1/4 of travel.

Any noise "heard" or "felt"when a clutch pedal is depressed is USUALLY associated with the clutch release/throwout bearing. The bearing will need to be replaced "soon" if the problem persists being that what you are feeling is the bearing on the input shaft through the input fork, The clutch disc, the pressure plate and possibly the transmission front bearing retainer (the part the release bearing slides fore & aft on, may be worn and causing sticking or binding, preventing smooth operation).

"Resting" ones foot on a clutch pedal habitually WITHOUT depressing or releasing it completely WILL cause a throwout bearing to fail prematurely, but I don't think you are doing that. it's just me thinking outloud. You may find out that "flatshifting" (no clutch pedal depressing) may be in your future.
