Hey Guys,
Here are some graphs displaying the differences between the Innovate CARB tune, Intercooled on 91, vs the same setup on our 8.58 tunes. First graph is a stock 86, second is on the Innovate kit. Maha Dyno Chart Graphs (How To Analyze) - Blue Lines - Wheel Horsepower (Real world horsepower) - Red Lines - Horsepower Normalized (Similar to Dyno Jet) - Orange Lines - Torque Normalized (Similar to Dyno Jet) - Green Lines - Drag (Drivetrain power loss) - Solid Lines - Current Tune we offer - Dotted Lines - Tune for comparion purposes ![]() ![]() Sincerely, Delicious Tuning Last edited by DeliciousTuning; 04-11-2019 at 05:35 PM. |

To give a little more info on the dyno charts above. Please remember all dynos are different so a lot of what you look at depends on how you look at the curve. While the dyno being used is importnet we also have a couple other points to bring up with respect to the tune and dyno charts.
We would like to point out our dyno pull started at 1500 RPM, and I am pretty sure you will not find another dyno chart anywhere with the Innovate tune starting at 1500 RPM's. Being this low of an RPM, will have a large impact on the torque as you can see in the dyno chart. We do know that the automatic guys drive their vehicles in this range a LOT and we wanted to test this area to show it is possible to make more torque over stock even at 1500 RPM with this kit. While we also wanted to show it is smooth even if you were in 6th gear and needed to floor it, so you would feel a pull like a stock vehicle. Now also note different dyno's will measure differently and that is why it is important to show a before after results on the same dyno along with a stock baseline comparison. The way the loads are ramped up on each particular dyno will have a massive affect on the torque values shown and how they are measured. Because of this it makes it hard to duplicate the torque on a Maha dyno to say a Dynojet for instance, which are two totally different styles of dynos. The CARB tune that Innovate Motorsports offers has not changed since it was released and can not be changed because it is the CARB approved tune. So it will be like that forever, unless retested with the new tune. Now as far as what is shown, the dotted line (- - -) is the CARB tune which is labeled 8.1 for our own records. The solid line (____) is our new 8.58 tune we currently offer. As you can see in the dyno charts there is a fair amount of improvement across the board, especially on the top end. And to go along with the tune is the MPG increase over the CARB tune. We have spent a fair amount of time dialing in the fueling so we can obtain a much better fuel economy over the CARB tune. So far from the feedback we have received if you are cruising with the cruise control active at 65 mph most of our customer are getting near or at stock MPG. Now when you get on it, that is a different story. LOL Hope this answers some questions. Cheers, William Knose Delicious Tuning |

![]() Green - Baseline Stock Vehicle, after about 3 pulls to get the ECU to learn to add power. Blue - 75mm pulley with the 8.58 tune Red - 70mm pulley with the same 8.58 tune As you can see there is a power improvement across the entire power band, and we can see as much gains as much as 15 hp and 13 ft/lbs of torque. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade with no other upgrades needed. Porbably the cheapest upgrade you can do to make 15 horsepower. Cheers, William Knose Delicious Tuning |

Hey Bill, goes to show just how good your tune is dialed in, as I'm showing almost identical gains remotely.

My ONLY criticism is that it idles every so slightly high if I'm coasting with the clutch in and the car is in gear. The only time I notice it is when I'm pulling up to my garage and about to turn in. The only reason I notice it is because I'm extremely picky. It idles up to like 1,100 instead of 850 or whatever idle is. That's seriously my only complaint and it's as minor as you can get. I can't even remember if it did that before the car was boosted on the OEM ECU. I only drove the car for 2 weeks in the fall before I stored it and added a turbo.

Protpibe I'm pretty sure its the tune. I'm running AVO and the speed density as well and mine does the same thing. When I was NA the car dropped to idle really fast. Like you said its super minor. I think I'm on ver. 12.48 if I'm understanding the file naming correctly.
For everything else I'm really happy with. Its roasting the crap out of my stock clutch so I need to take care of that soon lol. Boost control works wonderfully I've got mine mounted on the driver side above the fuel rail, on that cover. I'm planning on fabbing a bracket right now its help tight by zip tie. |

Honestly there's times I like it and others where I want to be more of a control freak. But I find Bill's throttle mapping doesn't make for quick enough throttle blips so I would probably end up messing up anyway. Bill, is there anyway we could have a map with more aggressive throttle mapping and little thing like the high idle turned off? I understand that its a point of pride to have all of your maps feel like an OEM map, but to be completely honest I sometimes miss the throttle response from my old Visconti tune. when I'm out having fun it made the car work with me a lot better. |

Avo makes a throttle input controller to speed it up if you want. It's adjustable
