CSCS is always a good time. It's a great place to see a ton of tuner and import cars. Scion usually brings out a couple cars to take around the track as well.

Me and a couple of buddies will be there.

Be one more in London by Wednesday. Just got (well the bank and I did at any rate) the hot lava one off Scion Town showroom floor. Lowering springs, spoiler, TRD exhaust and a whole bunch of other goodies already on it. Got a great deal!

Sounds like a good package, wish I bought mine later to be able to get a few extras. Although doing it myself has been fun.

Ya they loaded it up to showcase many (most?) of the dealer installed options. But ... now it has sat there a while so probably getting a little nervous with the new model year coming out in the near future.
Has tint, paint protection, "hood tape" (the clear film on the front), upgraded sound, lowering springs, sway bars, TRD exhaust, air cleaner and spoiler. Got the whole works for $2500. over base. Had 18 inch rims as well but believe it or not they pushed the cost over what the bank would pay. Didn't really mind as they were butt ugly in my opinion.
Hadn't even seen one of these before last Saturday so this was the first time had seen one up close.

Not really London but close enough. Saw an argento FRS coming off the 401 into Woodstock the other day. Didn't get a close look but had what appeared to be a rental car sticker on the back??????

Hey guys! I've had my car for a year now. You may have seen me around. Looking to turbo my FR-s. Is there anyone with experience turbo-ing these cars around? I'm an old school DSMer, so I know turbos at least.

The only place I can really think of is Re-Speed (this is his web page but look him up on Facebook and you will see all of his work). Sam (the owner) specializes in rotary engines but has done many other turbo and custom cars. The latest one I can think of was a Turbo NSX.

You would probably want to buy a turbo kit that already exists and then he would install and tune it.

His company is growing rapidly so he is in the middle of moving to a larger shop. He will be having a grand opening sometime in August probably. I will post details about it here as that would probably be the best time to check his place out.

And if you are ever looking for custom work Sam is the man to see. He is one of the best if not the best welder around.

I'm not looking for someone to do the work for me. That's for losers

I'm just looking for someone who has done it, so I can take a look and talk about it.

I'm sure its probably not that hard... just make sure you know what your getting in the kit. I haven't looked into any myself, I'm sure there are some that are direct bolt on with very little fabrication. I'd love to have the money to take on a project like this.

I've also heard there's a turbo FR-S in Woodstock. Might try the Kitchener/Waterloo thread, might have a better shot there.

Hey Shekky...what turbo are you getting?
I have a turbo for mine....waiting somewhat patiently for my husband to install it for me lol
We got the Fullblown kit for it. Pretty pumped to get it installed....at this point likely won't happen until I take it off the road for the winter. (which at this rate with the weather could be next week!!)
I've heard amazing things about Sam at Re-Speed....he actually just moved into the shop next to my husband! Super nice guy.

If you had any questions I know either of these guys (Sam or my hubs at Tangent Car Care) would be happy to help!

Saw my first other in London on Saturday! Ultramarine turned from Bradly onto Milbank right in front of me. Not sure he saw me though.
