That sits so high. How short is the throw? Stock?

Sits maybe 3/8" above stock height because of the reverse lockout adapter. The sphere itself is a tad bit bigger than the stock size as well. Throws do not feel any longer.

The weight behind this knob is amazing and makes the shifter pretty much just fall into gear. Way better fit in the hand as well.

Made a pilgrimage to Mazda Raceway with my BRZ. Souvenir store was closed by the time I got there but I got to see the corkscrew at least! Saw a highly modified Lava FR-S too and exchanged deuces.

I heard about this, and definitely want to try it since it seems to be working. Any tips on how I can do this for myself?

It was actually really easy. I have about 11k and the tires were down to 2/32nds and 4/32nds f/r so I called the Michelin warranty number (1 866 866 6605) and told them the situation, they opened a claim, and I had the tires inspected at an NTB right by my house.

They did ask about abuse which I told them about the drag strip, mountain cruising, and the occasional spirited driving and they still fulfilled the warranty. 71% of for the fronts and 60% for the rears which were pro-rated to 14k miles.

Get the discount if you can. I will keep buying Michelin if they keep honoring warranties. It's too good to pass up.

So how much money did that end up knocking off of each tire? If I have to do all of that for $10/tire discount then I really don't give a fuck. If they give me $75 - $100 off then we're talking!
