I sent him a couple emails, thanks for getting the word out! Hope they catch the scumbag. At least I've managed to pick up a legit set of STi Brembos since being scammed!
I dropped my dash panel off at Composite Solutions Inc. to be wrapped in carbon fiber. I dropped my trim pieces off at Sansossio Auto Body to be sprayed with ALSA Ghost Chrome and piano black. My interior is all done at JPM except for the steering wheel and B-pillar trim and should be headed back shortly. Can't wait to get it all together!!

hey how do you like the TWM shift knob vs the sti titanium one? I have the sti knob but I find it too small and too light for my taste.. it doesnt quite match our bright silver interior either..
btw, love your taste in everything you`re doing to the car!

It's a Billet Pro Shop shift knob, not TWM. I like it a lot though! I wish it were a tiny bit smaller but the STi knob was indeed too small.

is this the one? I am seriously thinking about replacing my sti knob because it`s too small for my hand.
http://www.billetproshop.com/product.../#!prettyPhoto also most importantly, is your knob heavier than the stock one? I was quite surprised at the stock one as it is pretty heavy.

Updates, finally!!!
With the exception of the dashboard surround trim and the B-pillar trim, my interior is reinstalled. It looks, feels, and smells amazing! Could not be happier with the work that JPM Coachworks did. While I am not let down by the quality of work that Sansossio Auto Body did on the plastic pieces, the quality of the ALSA Ghost Chrome leaves me with some questions. The piano black pieces that I had Phil Sansossio paint came out incredible! The Ghost Chrome pieces? Came out like a bright painted silver; something I feel like we could've achieved with any silver paint had that been the desired result. Unfortunately it wasn't. I was hoping to achieve a finish not unlike the polished aluminum trim you see in many new Audis and other cars. So it may be back to the drawing board with those. I will say that they are still an improvement over the crappy paint Subaru used to spray the trim pieces. Anyway, PICS!!! Sorry for crappy phone pics; will take some with the Nikon as soon as the car's completely back together. The trim pieces arriving from JPM Coachworks: ![]() Everything unwrapped: ![]() ![]() ![]() Headliner: ![]() Trim pieces back from Sansossio Auto Body: ![]() ![]() ![]() Installation progress pics; made some room in the garage to work: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Interior: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Finished (almost): ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() One of my favorite touches; piano black surround to the gauge cluster, heater vent, dome light and microphone grille: ![]() ![]() ![]() With everything buttoned back up, I fired the car up and took her for a little spin! Unfortunately I have a couple issues to iron out (as I've posted in the BRZ main forum); airbag light is on, and my dome light and heated seats are inoperable. So I'm not done yet, but we're getting there! And last but not least, gave her a bath and picked up the RS 6 from getting detailed and windows tinted; pics of the two together: ![]() ![]()

This interior is so sick. You said youre getting your dash panels wrapped in CF? If you don't mind me asking, how much did they charge you? Do you have any pics of the completed work?

Edit: I ended up ordering the pieces from Rexpeed. They're on backorder but I'll report when they arrive.

Not much to report, although I did buy a VORTECH SUPERCHARGER!!! Waiting to purchase the supporting mods for it this month (ECUtek license, Koyo radiator, Perrin oil cooler, Vortech 3" pulley, Snow W/M kit, etc.) then I hope to have it tuned by ECS Performance early next month. Shooting for 300whp on 93 with water/meth assistance.
So antsy to get this installed!! ![]() Also, went to Wicked Big Meet this past weekend. If you were there, you may have seen my car in front of the JPM Coachworks booth: ![]() Joe and Nick were there all day fielding questions from many, many prospective customers. Joe Pavich, founder of JPM Coachworks is the one in the blue collared shirt standing behind my BRZ. Big thanks to them for using my car as a sort of demo vehicle and for putting me up in a hotel the night before. WBM was a lot of fun and I can't wait to go back next year!!

I've sprayed Alsa's chrome mirra and ghost chrome paints. They must be sprayed over gloss black and gloss topcoated (clearcoat.)
To me (looking at your pictures) it looks like they sprayed the paint over the stock silver, which is why it seems so bright in color. Secondly it doesn't look like they applied a GLOSS BLACK BASECOAT. It has to be gloss and it has to be black. The black gloss is what gives the spray chrome it reflectivity. Do it over a non-gloss black, or sand/scuff the black dull and you end up with silver. Also if the clearcoat finish isn't glossy it won't stay looking like chrome. Soon as it is hit with any matte/semi gloss clear it dulls down to silver too. It's really hard to tell on my end via your pictures but, if you look at your parts/backsides you should easily be able to sell what steps they took while painting them.
