Edmunds.com:What fees should I pay. A bit dated, but still useful.

I think they tweaked destination to $770 on this car to grab another $20 from us.

so with nothing down with fairly low interest rate ~2%, you are looking at around 450-500/mo for 60 month

Yeah, Michael Moore approaches you and asks if you're a Republican and if so berates you until you pay him off.

Yep, because only charging $750 for dest would shatter their profit margins.

20 bucks x 6,000 (rumored US allocation) = extra 120,000.

<_< I wouldn't complain even if its technically a little splash in the ocean.

The Edmunds link is good, or you can just go by the old tried and true method:

car + TT&L. That's tax, title, license...EVERYTHING else is bullshit and isn't required to be paid. Of course they can tell you to go pound sand, but it doesn't change the fact that TT&L is all that is required.

Title and License usually run about $135 combined in my experiences.

Talked to the dealer in Plano and they are wanting $770 for the destination charge instead of $750.

I asked why and pointed to this press release:
http://www.subaru.com/company/news/index.html

The didn't answer the why but pointed to this press release:
http://media.subaru.com/index.php?s=43&item=313

Kinda weird that Subaru can't keep it's charges straight.

It's very possible subaru will be raising its delivery sometime soon on all models.

My dealer said $240 for document fee. That includes a new plate, if you're transferring plates she said it would be cheaper.
