Received my kit today! Thanks @fteightysix for the great customer service and @KraftWerks for what looks like a gorgeous kit!

I'll be going through inventory tonight to make sure it is all accounted for. I cannot wait to be boosted!

No worries, I just stumbled onto that thread after looking at the sema pics and knew I read about the prices from somewhere. It was like deja vu.

Don't forget to clamp those hoses behind the intake manifold

I just used zip ties. Didn't have to remove anything and it seems to be holding 15 psi okay during dyno tuning and driving around so far.

Kraftwerks Supercharger Owners Thread

Everything is in. I just need to flash the ecu. Now I tried running the tune file. The USB isn't being detected and it's asking me to format. FML.

Car is sitting at the shop. Don't want to remove belt and drive it. Now I have to wait till tm to talk to kraftwerks to send me a tune file.

So how does Visconti's tune compare to Delicious? Well it's not a fair fight because the Vtune is 93 octane and Delicious is 91 but here are two logs to compare.

Visconti:
http://datazap.me/u/postbreak/kraftw...i-93-flex-fuel

Delicious
http://datazap.me/u/postbreak/kraftw...ious-91-octane

Now the Vtune is MAF and Delicious is speed density I believe. You can see the D tune hit 11AFR where as the V tune stays in the 12's. According to my AEM wideband both hit 11.7 AFR at the lowest level. I'm not sure why the V tune doesn't record that in ecutek.

Now how do they compare on the butt dyno? Well they feel pretty close. I don't feel like I've lost a bunch of power. They are close and that's all I'm going to say without comparing both on a dyno.

On the street the V tune feels like beast mode. Power when you want it. It's pulls like crazy all over the place. If you stuff it, she'll give it to you. It's like a knife.

The D tune feels more like "stock" boost. Like you have to ask for power. It feels "smoother" to drive on the street because it's not begging to be unleashed.

How would I compare them? Honestly, I'm glad I have both, they both appear to be running how they should looking at my logs and my lean situation with the V tune was just an Evap leak. I didn't change the tune, just clamped those evap hoses and suddenly it was running in the rich areas where it should.

Overall I'm happy with both tunes and they work great.

Nevermind just read your Dtune is MAF so its the default shipped tune.
I ordered the kit without the tune and got the Speed density Delicious tune with 93 octane map and 91 as secondary.

Otherwise are you comparing the default tune shipped with the Kraftwerks kit?
The tune was what the original owner of the kit I purchased requested. Delicious just transferred the tune to me because it was never installed or flashed to his vehicle.

I will have to get with Delicious to see how much they will charge to upgrade this tune to a 93 or flexfuel tune.

I got the delicious and the kw tune, I have 4 maps two for 91 and two for corn, the DT is smother than the kw and it's a beast on e85, I still have one free revision after a log. But overall the kw tune was kinda bumpy but not that bad.

Honest comparison, thank you.

Smooth and stock feel is a priority in our tunes.
