Yeah, I might consider those, but I also think I have a "free" one for a base file from a friend. Ultimately, I want to dyno tune it. N/A you can remote e-tune easy, but FI you might leave a lot on the plate when its not on the dyno.

Of course. People have been pretty happy with bill's work so far it seems. On another note, getting fluids swapped out over the weekend at a buddies, going to go for a fun drive this weekend after.

yup, just doing 8100 for the engine though, 300v is super over kill for a DD / lime creek run or two.

Chances are that the weather will be hot and sunny and a great day for a run.

All in all, it's shaping up to be a fun run for Saturday. We just need to time everything just right for the twisties and use some caution in the risky straightaway areas we know are susceptible to radar. We're not gonna be out there to break land speed records so if there are a lot of cyclists out there we need to ramp things down a bit from our past wintertime runs to be on the safe side. #1 goal is that we all get there and back safe and sound. Also, we must be attentive and respectful of other folks on the road....as we always do!

Looking forward to seeing everyone Saturday (June 14th)!!!

Which oil cooler are you thinking about going with? I have 90% of the parts needed to do the Forrester XT OEM oil cooler DIY if you were thinking about using a wet oil cooler with a sandwich plate. Those have the added benefit of not only cooling the oil when its hot, but warming it up when its cold. I had planned on installing it in mine, but I am still waiting to hear if they're going to add an allowance in my autocross class to allow for oil coolers, currently its illegal to add one if there isn't one already. PM if you are interested.

According to CSG-Mike who has lots of track time, he said air to oil coolers are superior for your "average" drivers. I'll most likely go with the Kraftwerks one and get a thermostatic sandwich plate for it. The Forester one is a great and cheaper option though for sure.

Man, I'm getting real sick of the Californians coming to Texas. There's one giving me crap in PM's right now from the FT86SF header thread. I see all the license plates all the time that say California just about daily on my drive home from work. People I work with that are local Austinites that grew up here say they're ruining the city. I tend to agree with them.

I understand why they're coming here for the jobs and money, but they need to leave the attitude back where they came from.
