To add to this: You have to go through Amazon first. I guarantee they'll give your money back because they're awesome. CC companies usually require you to email the merchant first, so there's no point in going to them without first going through Amazon.

I too have noticed this but it only does it when it has to load up the ad card or usb stick. If you turn off car and turn back on right away, it holds it. So I think it's tied into that. Might be a setting but might be how it's programmed.

Mine doesn't do that, goes to whatever volume I left it at...

Ohhh, you know what it might be (and it used to do this for me), it's the stupid stock USB app that auto launches sometimes. Download app quarantine and freeze that shit. You won't have that problem any longer and you can just go back to using Poweramp.

Does the stock USB app autolaunch in the background? Nothing launches automatically when I start my car because I only use PowerAmp and PodcastAddict.

Yeah I opened a case with Amazon. Not concerned but thanks. Think I should just purchase again from a good seller in the meantime? Looks like the current preferred seller on Amazon is actually the manufacturer.

You'll need the 4.1.1 ones.

What contacts are you trying to sync? Google or your phone ones through Bluetooth? AFAIK the only contacts you can use with the headunit's dialer are your phone ones you synced before.
