Hello!
Been looking around at the forums for the past couple of months reading the news and patiently waiting. Not sure if i want to buy an FRS/BRZ, but it's definitely on my radar...I think my AE86 could use a friend!

Hey All-

Former subaru fan here. Used to own a WRX back in the day. Loved the car, I have never driven anything more fun and daily-driver friendly. Most of all, the glorious un-equal length boxer rumble from a fully catless wrx is an aural sensation it is own.

I am looking forward to the BRZ for many many reasons, but the biggest reason is the fact that this car will be the first rwd subaru sports car. While owning my wrx i constantly wished it was RWD, as i only really used the AWD in the snow...

Flash forward to 2012 and it looks like subaru has answered my request! I know i will miss the turbocharged pull of the 'rex, however I am ready for a non-turbo engine. Having a direct, immediate throttle response is something I look forward to.

Like many of you here I seriously can not wait to drive this car!

Toyota86

Hey, I saw this thread and was happy to read all the excited posts from people. If anybody was interested in the ft86 then they would love to see the new trailer for the Toyota86 "Drive with Passion"

It said "exclusive" so I doubt many people have seen it. Looks awesome though!

Hello! Been lurking for a while, finally decided to join. Looking to get a new car this summer, and FR-S is high on the list. I've had several old BMW's (2002, 3-series.) Can't wait for a new lightweight RWD car!

Hi everyone, another newbie checking in. Great set of forums. Just put down a deposit last week on an FR-S: a manual, in Argento (silver). Really excited about this car.

Not new here, but never did this. SUP DUDES! I'm 3rd in line at my Scion dealer for an FRS. Getting whiteout and manual. Debating what else I'll get. Most of the other stuff is replaceable and not important to me. I just want the car so I can drive it on track days, and have my kid say "Daddy's got a nice race car!" (He's 2, everything is a race car...)

My current DD:

I used to have an AE86 back in the day. Here's a shot from one of the drift events in Austin before I did a full rear axle overhaul (Battle Version control arms/LSD/New rear shocks/Springs to replace the junk TRD Greens and TRD blue springs):

I miss it. I sold it when I moved to CA and shortly after it became this:

My name is Matt and I work for Five Axis/FIVE:AD. Just wanted to drop in and say hello. We are getting a ton of inquiries from people about parts FIVE:AD will be making for the FR-S, so if anyone has any questions, please let me know. Here to help.
