NorCal (Bay Area) DRIVE Chat Thread

Fellow DRIVE junkies -- You know you wanna help, and it's easy.
86DRIVE will have a tent/table at the Summer Kickoff -- and a few chairs. I'd like a few volunteers who can help out at the table on Sunday, in case I am out and about helping otherwise with the overall event.

The ideal volunteer will:
-- have attended one or more 86DRIVE drives or events in the past;
-- wants to help spread the word to other 86 owners about 86DRIVE;
-- knows how to help set up and dismantle an EZ-up/canopy tent!
-- knows how to sit in a chair and has some basic communication skills.
-- help Finch and I out with any other random tasks that might pop up to help the event run smoothly.

I would totally volunteer since that would be an ideal situation for the wife and baby, but as of a couple of days ago, we are now iffy on attending...

P you know I totally would if I could, this is like the perfect job for me. Unfortunately I'm only gonna be able to swing by for an hour max on Sunday so I can't help you out. Sorry man

haha not a problem Drew, but if it's a sunny day like we're expecting, I have a feeling you'll spend a good chunk of that hour over by our tent anyways.

Since there is a slight time window I can come to this, I shall be waiting for the route/location with bated breath...

Since the last drive was in the Peninsula, this one will traverse the East/South Bay. I am thinking either Mines to Mt. Ham or Palomares-Calaveras-Felter-Sierra. Weigh in on your preference guys. Route will start at 7am in either Livermore or CV depending on the route we pick.

Whichever one we pick, we will probably run the other in a few weeks as well.
