I heard someone say that they didn't get into it until episode 8 which on reflection is how I felt, pretty 'meh' for about 3/4 of the way through then everything started ramping up.

We live in a very different time, I give up on network shows after two or three episodes tops, but because I could Netflix binge and heard good things I powered through 6+ episodes I didn't really care about.

Netflix has a few original series. House of Cards, and Lillyhammer are REALLY good!

Lillyhammer is the best I've seen in the last few years, check it out.
