Yes that was me. I waved back and wasn't sure you saw it as my window was closed.

Just got back from Ontario Time Attack events 1 and 2 at Mosport on the newly repaved and extended Driver Development Track (DDT). Sorry to miss out on the cruise but I still had a blast finishing 2nd in T1 class on Saturday and 1st place on Sunday.

Local FRS owners with HID kits - where did you buy your kits? Any issues or problems with the ones you bought?

I have had a kit physically installed/mounted in mine since last year but it has never worked! No matter what orientation I put the connector from the ballast to the factory bulb power plug - nothing, nada, zip, zilch, not even a freaking blown fuse or puff of smoke to tell me it was even close to working.
Any info you can share would be appreciated - PM me if you don't want it out in the public for some reason

Has anybody replaced their factory spoiler with another one? Say Five Axis.

I'm wondering what spoiler I could get that uses my factory bolt holes, or at least covers them.

Can somebody educate me on the whole hubcentric thing?

Everything online is so conflicting.
Am I safe just mounting the wheels to the car without the rings?

I don't want to be that guy who loses a wheel. I understand the concept of the rings, however, you can get them in plastic. Don't tell me the shitty China plastic will hold the weight of a car.

To my knowledge the rings simply act as a guide to center the wheel. It's the studs and the lugs torqued to the proper ft-lb setting that hold the wheel in place. The rings don't do much except hold the weight of the wheel and tire until the lugs are tightened up. I've mounted wheels without the rings and have not felt any vibration due to an unbalanced wheel mount. I put 5mm spacers on my fronts to widen my track by 10mm at my last track event. The rings interfered with the spacers so I didn't use them. I drove the car all day on the track without any ill effects and the car felt rock solid (no vibrations) on my 300KM drive home. I make sure to tighten the lugs in a star pattern when mounting my wheels so that they seat evenly and center the wheel. The only way you can lose a wheel is from improper ft-lb setting on your torque wrench (i.e. too low).

Great, thanks!
I've had 0 issues on my Civic over the last year, and I forget whether I had the rings on my S13 or not.

I always star pattern and seat the wheels right anyways, so I guess I'm ok. My friend (who's a licensed tech) agreed that just bolted up should be fine, thought I'd ask just in case though

Just from experience, I had a friend who forgot to put one ring back, although everything was tight, there was a wobble in the car. A 1$ ring/spacer from ebay solvef everything
