Almost!!! So close.

Only 4th for me this weekend. Maybe I should have shifted to third before the crossover before Sunday morning, but other than that, either I was just a little off, or the car did not like heat, or both!

I think, if I do go to Lincoln, getting the car custom tuned for 100 octane is a must, especially on courses like this. I felt down on power until the temp got below 80 degrees when I was nearly home, then it came to life again.

No, she beat me by 0.009 at the Crow's Landing Pro Solo. She was driving her FRS in Ladies class, and I was driving my BRZ in STX. Annie had a pretty awesome weekend, winning L3 and also the Ladies Challenge

We felt down on power, too. The heat just sucks it out of everyone!

Good news - wife and baby doing very well, so I'm going to Nationals. My codriver will be multiple time SM National Champ, Mike Simanyi.

To help get the car ready, FRSport.com have come on board and have lent me some lighter wheels, and are helping us get some race seats mounted to save some more weight. We should be mounting those over the weekend, so I'll try and snap some pictures.

My daughter, Lily...
