Valenti did admit they have some issues within their initial production.

We helped process more than 20 cases so far.

Buy from vendors who stand behind the products they sold.

Replaced the driver's side 3 times

Got mine in November 2013. Both sides went bad in two weeks (some turn signal LEDS stopped lighting). Got them from Mod Bargains because of their customer service and I am glad I did. Have had to replace the driver's side another 2 times for the same turn signal LEDs not lighting up since the first replacement set. Average time to failure has been about 3 months (better than two weeks ), Mod Bargains has been excellent in shipping out a replacement within days of me contacting them. I had to contact them again today because the third replacement is starting to fail. They are ready to send me another replacement tomorrow, however, they advised me that the maker had redesigned the units to eliminate the issue completely and they were expecting the new batch by the end of July (of course this is the second time they have "fixed" the issue) and wanted to know if I wanted to wait till then so that I would not have another failure (and them another return ). Have not finished communicating with them to finalize the exchange, expect to do so tomorrow.

Regarding the OEM taillights: Water run off in the trunk channels works it way eventually between the gasket and taillight by transporting fine grit over time. It just so happens that the weakest point of the gasket in this regard is just above the turn signal socket which has a tab that directs the dripping water right into the taillight and condensation then occurs. Does not take much rain for this to happen. Been in a drought here in So Ca and it happened due to just a year of weekly car washes for me. The passenger side is likely to go first because when one parks on a street that side of the car is leaning down compared to the driver's side and water tends to collect above the gasket more easily than the driver's side. Streets are not flat .

BTW on the subject of exterior lighting. I installed some Spyder Halo Headlights in February and 4 months later a coating they put on them is peeling off the tops of the outer lens. Looks lovely if one likes the peeling skin sunburn look on their car. Not recommended unless one enjoys dismay and frustration. No, I did not get these from Mod Bargains, wish I had.

yea, I have had mine for over 6 months with no issues. I was getting condensation in my right rear factory taillight 1 month after buying the car!!! So far the valenti lights have been great, better than stock, no LEDs out or anything. I think maybe I got a later version. They probably decided to upgrade their manufacturing process a bit, because a company can't survive having to replace peoples part all the time.

After reading about the issues with the LED turn signal I didn't think I had the same problem until I checked. Sure enough the 3 LEDs at the end of the turn signal on my passenger side were out. The guys at Speed Element quickly took care of my replacement. I have to say they were excellent in communicating with me and within a week I received my new tail light. It's nice to deal with Vendors that take care of customers. Thanks!!!

They have been really good. Highly recommend them for their customer service. from me although I wish I did not have the experience to be so authoritative about it.
