Had a mustang tailgate me really close. Turns out he was a racist (confederate flag tattoo and flag hanging from mirror & racial slurs were yelled out as he passed me). Also got REALLY close behind me at red lights; would've bumped into him if I had to do a hill start

I'm pretty sure a lot of pwople here have street stories that they posted. I don't see how you trying to do justice on forums will solve anything. Maybe you should go back to all the other posts people have made and tell them as well.

He didn't even post a street race story, he just said we need to see some 86's smashing on some evos/stis/BMWs. That seems like a general statement to me, not really implying a street race.

In a situation like that, I would have called the fuzz. No need to be threatened like that.

Totally agree. A lot of my "douchey encounters" are fellow frs/brz.

It's like another poster said, many times you only get approached because they have the faster car and know that they will win. Ego/I have a small penis/etc complex.

When this happens to me, I just keep on driving/looking straight ahead and don't engage. BRZ aint beating anyone in a straight line (not with the mods I have, at least)

It would almost be the exact same thing if an FRS/BRZ/FT86 Driver saw a GTR, Ferrari, Lambo etc. Just depends on how immature you are.

Definitely, paying them no attention at all is the best way to handle it.

Rather interesting situation today, I was driving around in my old impreza, non turbo, and I had to get out of the right lane since it was turning into a turn only.

Light goes green and I had to get on it a bit. Naturally there was a WRX hatch two cars over that thought I was trying to race. Pulls along next to me then guns it away thinking ill follow, then he has to slam on his brakes to avoid hitting the rush hour in front of him. I calmly pass him and laugh to myself.

If I was driving my 86 it would have been different. I just find it rather humorous that men (it was some old fat 55 yr old bald dude too) seem to think there is some justification in picking on slower cars...
