Lebron won't get any closer to the seven championships he promised the Heat fans. The Heat are worse than last year, and the Spurs have gotten better. I am confident the Spurs can beat the Heat without Parker. Joseph and Mills can fill in just fine for him. Just make sure someone is always on the old man Ray Allen in the corner, and the Spurs will be fine this NBA Finals.

Anybody think the change to the 2-2-1-1-1 format for the Finals will make a difference?

I think it equals the playing field maybe? Felt like if the road team took 1 on the road they had too much of an advantage with the 3 consecutive. It should of always been this format....

I agree if definitely will equal the playing field. 3 is too much of an advantage.

No LeBron meme? The spurs definitely looked like the younger, more athletic team. Asking to be pulled due to heat (too bad Stevenson wasn't there to blow on him) and then being carried off the court for a cramp is not the way to get in the debate with Jordan and Kobe. And they had the nerve to mock Dirk for being sick...

It wasn't that bad of a game. We should all know better to not count out the Heat just yet, but I like the fact the Spurs have got the first win. Just three more wins to go.

Colin Cowherd basically did a apology show for Lebron comparing his cramps to seizures. I can't tell you how many times I've seen a buckeye football game and seen somebody get cramps. You know what they do? Go on the sidelines for a series and get some fluids and then they're good. He was making it seem like a season ending injury. I'm sure ESPN would be making excuses for Duncan if he got cramps, right? RIGHT?

Cramps are no joke. I'm not sure if any of you have experienced it, but once it starts, it doesn't go away easily. In addition, it has the tendency to lock muscles. It's funny if you don't know what it actually feels like. I'm not sure why he even went back in the second time. It just made things worse for him.
That was a great game in my eyes. Miami looked like they had the game in the bag, then the Lebron thing happened. All is not lost....yet. haha |
